[Pistol Shooting Competition]
Competitions are held within certain standards, such as the type of gun and ammunition used, but all shooting is done in a standing position. There are the "Free Pistol Competition," which uses 5.6mm rimfire cartridges (same specifications as rifle competitions) at 50m, the "Centerfire Pistol Competition," which is held at 25m and uses centerfire cartridges, the "Rapid Fire Pistol Competition," which uses 5.6mm rimfire cartridges, the "Sport Pistol Competition," which is also for women, and the "Air Pistol Competition," which is held at 10m and uses the same bullets as rifle competitions. These are all summarized in Table 3.
