...the study of the medical, psychological, physiological, and biochemical problems humans encounter when trying to maintain life and protect their bodies in space. When humans are launched into space, various problems arise, such as what changes occur in the human body and how to deal with them, what are the characteristics of diseases contracted in space, whether there are methods of prevention, how to use the special environment of space to treat diseases, what kind of space should be designed for humans to live in, problems with food and water supplies, how to dispose of waste, how to keep the air clean, and how to dispose of dust and garbage.
