Urmia [Lake] - Urmia
A salt lake in northwestern Iran, Azerbaijan. Also known as Lake Rezaye. Average area is 5,585 km2 (water level changes depending on the season). There is no drainage river, and the lake is too saline for fish to grow. The average depth is 8 m. There are about 50 rock islands in the south.
