A gastropod snail of the family Conidae in the class Gastropoda of the phylum Mollusca. It lives in the Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia, and is an inverted cone shaped shell about 14 cm high and 5.6 cm in diameter. The surface of the shell has a fine triangular pattern and three brown bands. It was once highly coveted by collectors and was an expensive shell, but in recent years it has been supplied in relatively large quantities.
