Sasaki clan of the Uda Genji lineage

Meanwhile, Prince Atsumi, son of Emperor Uda, gave Masanobu the surname Minamoto in 936 (Shohei 6) and became a commoner, and his grandson Shigeyoshi settled in Omi and became the ancestor of the Sasaki clan, which descended from the Uda Genji clan, and his grandson Tsunekata lived in Kowaki no Yakata in Gamo County. The Sasaki clan, which descends from the Uda Genji clan, settled to the north of the Sasaki clan, and the assimilation of the two clans progressed....
