Buried object - Umemono
〘 noun 〙 Decoration of lacquerware and other crafts by inlaying gold, silver, shells, etc. It developed in China during the Qing dynasty. In Japan, it originated during the Genroku era ( 1688-1704 ), and the Ogawa Haritsu example is well known.
