A Greek historian of philosophy from around the first half of the 3rd century. Dates of birth and death unknown. Nothing is known about him other than that he is the author of "Lives and Teachings of Famous Philosophers," which can be considered a history of Greek philosophy. The amount of description of Epicurus in this book is incomparably larger than any other, but it is comprehensive and the biographical part is particularly interesting, and we can see the great influence he had on the philosopher Nietzsche, who started out as a researcher of Diogenes.
