Ust'-Polui culture
A culture from the 1st millennium BC in the Lower Ob River basin in western Siberia, Russia. It corresponds to the Bronze Age and Early Iron Age. The inhabitants of this culture built dwellings (the largest being 100 m2 ) on promontories and high terraces on the riverbank, and made their living mainly by hunting wild reindeer, with fishing as a side occupation. Large numbers of iron knives, bronze daggers, and ornaments have been found at the site of the dwellings.
