...The beginning of the Abbasid movement was when their da'i (propagandist) Khidash (?-736) allied with the Mazdakites in Khorasan. After the murder of Abu Muslim, the Sunbas Rebellion (755), which sought blood revenge, the Ustazsis Rebellion (767), which preached the second coming of Abu Muslim as a hidden messiah, and the Muqanna Rebellion (776) occurred, further strengthening the ties between Mazdakites and radical Shiites. The largest Khurramite rebellion was the Babak Rebellion in the first half of the 9th century, and even after it was put down, Khurramites remained, and it is said that in the first half of the 12th century, Khurramites lived in the northwest of Hamadan and in Azerbaijan.
