The white rabbit of Oki Island tricked a sea crocodile (shark) into lining up at Keta Cape in Inaba (now Hakuto Beach in Tottori City) and tried to use it as a bridge to cross, but failed and was stripped of its fur. When it was further tortured by the eighty gods who passed by and began crying, Oonamuchi-no-Kami (later known as Okuninushi-no-Kami) taught it how to heal and saved it.
