A 19th century British fast clipper. A three-masted sailing ship, it was built in 1869 in Dumbarton on the River Clyde. Its registered gross tonnage was 963 tons, its overall length 85m, and its width 11m. It had 34 sails with a total surface area of 3,047m2. It was built with the aim of being a tea clipper that could rival the Thermopylae, a fast clipper of the time, and on the stern is inscribed the words "With a set mind, anything can be accomplished," which seems to show the shipowner's determination.
