A literary magazine first published in Rome in 1953 by Giambattista Vicari. Its editorial policy has been to introduce satirical, grotesque, fantastical works. The magazine's collaborators are diverse, including Calvino, Manganelli, Malerba, and Sanguineti, who were also editorial board members, as well as foreign authors such as Borges, Queneau, and Mandiargues. The magazine had a great influence in the 1960s, when newly emerging neo-avant-garde writers such as Sanguineti and Malerba actively published works alongside established writers such as Buzzati and Palazzeschi, energizing the magazine.
