Weather Coast

...The area around Honiara is highly urbanized, with copra and cocoa plantations and the cultivation of cash crops. The south coast, known as the Weather Coast, is mountainous and receives significantly more rain than the north coast. Despite the poor transportation, the population is larger than the rest of the north coast, excluding Honiara.
