[Medicinal]
In traditional Chinese medicine, the leaves of Epimedium are called Inyoga, and the rhizomes and roots are called Inyogagen. As herbal medicines, species of the Epimedium genus such as Hozakinoikarisou and E. brevicornum Maxim., which are native to China, are used, and Japanese seeds are also used as substitutes.
