School Safety Meeting - gakko anzenkai

Japanese: 学校安全会 - がっこうあんぜんかい

A special corporation that promotes and improves school safety and provides mutual aid for school accidents and disasters. Its official name is the Japan School Safety Association. Its objectives and business activities are set out in the Japan School Safety Association Act (promulgated in 1959), and under the supervision of the Minister of Education, the government provides a certain amount of subsidy for its activities. In the event of a school accident or disaster (from kindergarten to high school), parents pay a premium and the school joins the association, which provides a certain amount of medical expenses, disability compensation, or death compensation for injuries, illness, disability, or death of students under the supervision of the school.

学校安全の普及充実と学校事故･災害の共済給付とを行う特殊法人。正称は日本学校安全会。その目的，事業内容は，日本学校安全会法(1959公布)に定められており，文部大臣の監督下，事業に対しては国から一定の補助がある。学校事故･災害(幼稚園から高校まで)に対しては，父母が掛金を払い学校単位で同会に加入することによって，学校等の管理下におこった児童生徒等の負傷，疾病，廃疾または死亡につき，一定額の医療費，廃疾見舞金または死亡見舞金の支給を行う。
