...In Sado, although it differs from village to village, there are two days called "Imi-no-hi": from the end of November to the day of the rabbit in December and from January 29th to February 4th. The former is the last festival and the latter is the first, and people spend the days in seclusion. In Oki, the days of the snake in March and November are called Imi-san festivals, and people are not allowed to shout or make noise.
