A type of corporal punishment in which one side of the head is shaved, which was approved after the Kamakura Shogunate Law. In the "Ruijū Sandai Kaku" from the year 866, a punishment called "kon" appears, which is thought to be the predecessor of this punishment. In the "Goseibai Shikimoku," it is imposed as a punishment below that of a servant for crimes such as catching and assaulting a woman on the road. 鎌倉幕府法以降に認められた片側の髪を剃り落す肉刑の一種。『類聚三代格』に収められている貞観8 (866) 年の格には，「こん」なる刑がみえるが，それはこの刑の前身と考えられる。『御成敗式目』においては，道路において女を捕えて乱暴する罪などに，郎従以下の刑として，それが科されることになっている。
