A fern of the Pteridaceae family. The hairy rhizome is thin and spreads horizontally, producing densely grown, soft, hairy leaves. The leaf blade is 10-25 cm long and 3-8 cm wide, and is herbaceous. The sporangia are small and located near the edge of the lobes, at the tip of the veins. It is summer-green and is commonly found on cliffs in mountainous areas throughout the country.
