Kinri Ito

Kinri Ito
1710-1772 A Confucian scholar in the mid-Edo period.
Born in October 1766. The eldest son of Ito Ryushu. He studied under his father and followed in his footsteps, becoming a Confucian scholar in the Fukui domain of Echizen in 1721. Together with his younger brothers Emura Hokkai and Seita Danso, he was known as "Ito Sanjuju." He passed away on March 9, 1772, at the age of 63. His given name was Shin, and his pen name was Kimika. He was commonly known as Shoji and Sotaro. His other pen names were Houyou. His works include "Yosuikanshu."

宝永7年10月生まれ。伊藤竜洲(りゅうしゅう)の長男。父にまなび,その跡をつぎ元文3年越前(えちぜん)福井藩の儒官となる。弟の江村北海,清田儋叟(せいた-たんそう)とともに「伊藤三珠樹」といわれた。明和9年3月9日死去。63歳。名は縉(しん)。字(あざな)は君夏。通称は荘治,宗太郎。別号に鳳陽。著作に「邀翠館(ようすいかん)集」など。
