Kawai Ryu

Japanese: 河井流 - かわいりゅう
Kawai Ryu
〘Noun〙 A swimming style. It was founded by Kawai Hanbei Yukiatsu, a vassal of Kato Kiyomasa, during the Tensho era ( 1573-1592 ). It was later renamed the Takeda style.
