Wooden fence - Itatamagaki

... Tama and Mizu are honorifics. Tamagaki are typically made of square pieces of wood with crosspieces (Kaku Tamagaki) or thick planks (Itata Tamagaki), but there are also some that use the bark of the tree without scraping it (Kurogi Tamagaki), and some that are painted red or made of stone. When a double fence is constructed, the inner one is called Mizugaki and the outer one is called Tamagaki or Aragaki.
