This is the security deposit paid to a securities company when trading stocks on margin, bond futures, or financial futures. It is also called "margin." A credit limit is approved and used for trading according to the deposit. It can be substituted not only with cash but also with securities. If the market becomes overheated, the stock exchange may raise the deposit rate to adjust speculative movements. Source: ASCII.jp Digital Dictionary About ASCII.jp Digital Dictionary Information |
