Stone stupa - Itaishitoba

...A type of stone tower from the Middle Ages. Also called a "Itseki Toba." The first known example was a stone tower from 1227 in Konan-machi, Osato-gun, Saitama Prefecture. They were made in large numbers during the Nanboku-cho and Muromachi periods, but disappeared in the early 17th century.
