A collection of works is a collection of famous writings by many people, and is also called a conglomerate or a personal collection. The earliest known one is said to be the "Shengyuan Collection" carved by the Li clan of the Southern Tang Dynasty during the Shengyuan era of the Five Dynasties (937-942), but it is hard to believe that any extant examples exist.

…王羲之の《十七帖》をはじめ，顔真卿《忠義堂帖》，蔡襄《古香斎帖》，蘇軾（そしよく）(東坡)《西楼帖》《晩香堂蘇帖》，黄庭堅《黄文節公法書石刻》，米芾（べいふつ）《英光堂帖》《白雲居米帖》，趙孟頫（ちようもうふ）《松雪斎法書》，文徴明《停雲館真蹟》，董其昌《鷦鷯館帖（しようりようかんじよう）》，王鐸《擬山園帖》，成親王《詒晋斎帖》，劉墉《清愛堂帖》などがある。集帖とは多者の諸名跡を集刻したものであり，叢帖，彙帖（いじよう）とも呼ばれる。そのもっとも早く刻されたものは，五代昇元年間(937‐942)に南唐李氏の刻した《昇元帖》であるといわれるが，現存のものは信じがたい。…
