Eagle Nebula

...A diffuse nebula in Sagittarius. From Serpens to Sagittarius, there are four bright nebulae: the Eagle Nebula (M16), the Omega Nebula (M17), the Trifid Nebula (M20), and the Lagoon Nebula (M8). The Trifid Nebula appears to be split into three parts because it is absorbed by interstellar dust in the foreground.
