EMA - Electronic Manufacturing Equipment
European Monetary Agreement: An agreement established in 1955 for the purpose of multilateral settlement and credit provision among member countries of the EPU (European Payments Union). A multilateral settlement mechanism (Bank for International Settlements) and a European fund for credit provision were established. It came into force in 1958 and was abolished in 1972.
