Iinoya Domain - Iinoyahan

Japanese: 井伊谷藩 - いいのやはん
Iinoya Domain - Iinoyahan

This was a Fudai domain located in Iitani, Inasa County, Totomi Province (present-day Inasa Town, Kita Ward, Hamamatsu City). In 1619 (Genwa 5), Kondo Hidemochi was given 10,000 koku, which was later increased to 17,000 koku. Hidemochi was one of the people who helped Tokugawa Ieyasu enter Totomi Province, and played an active role in the Siege of Osaka. Upon his death in 1631 (Kan'ei 8), his territory was divided among his relatives Kanasashi Kondo (3,000 koku), Kiga Kondo (5,300 koku), and Hanadaira Kondo (500 koku), as well as the main family, Iitani Kondo. Kiga Kondo then split off with Ooya Kondo (2,000 koku) to become the Five Kondos (Hatamoto), and the domain was dissolved.
