...A manor that occupied the northern part of Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. In 1186 (Bun'ei 2), Iwaki County Hachiman Shrine (Iino Hachiman Shrine) was founded at Akamezaki, Iino-go, Iwaki County, Mutsu Province (later the site of Hirajo) by inviting the deity from Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine. Koshima Manor was established as the land of the shrine, but was in fact the Kanto Goryo. During the Kamakura period, 200 sheets of silk were presented to the shogunate, and during the Nanboku-cho period, 80 kanmon were presented to the Muromachi shogunate and 7 kanmon to Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine, half of each in silk. It consists of two manors, East and West, with the East manor corresponding to the three districts of Katayori, Tamazukuri, and Shirota listed in the Wamyōshō, and the West manor corresponding to the area of ​​Iino-go, but at the time of the establishment of the manor, about ten villages, including Kamiya, Katayori, and Kinuya, had already been established in the East manor, and villages such as Yoshijima, Higashime, Iino, Nitta, and Imanita had been established in the West manor.

…福島県いわき市北部を占めた荘園。1186年(文治2)陸奥国岩城郡飯野郷赤目崎(のち平城の地)に石清水八幡宮より御正体を勧請して岩城郡八幡宮(飯野八幡宮)が創建された。好島荘はその神宮領として立荘されたものであるが,事実上は関東御領であった。鎌倉期には帖絹200疋を幕府に進納し,南北朝期には室町幕府に80貫文,石清水八幡宮に7貫文,それぞれの半分を絹で進納した。東西2荘からなり,東荘は《和名抄》に載る片依,玉造,白田の3郷,西荘は飯野郷の範域に相当するが,立荘のころにはすでに東荘に紙谷,片寄,衣谷など約10村,西荘には好島,東目,飯野,新田,今新田などの諸村が成立していた。…
