A steelworks in Liaoning Province, northeastern China In 1915, the company obtained mining rights under the Twenty-One Demands, and in 1918, it was managed by the South Manchuria Railway Co., Ltd. (Mantetsu). Along with the Honkeiko Ironworks, it played a major role as part of the mainland investment policy. In 1933, it was separated from the Mt. Tanba and merged with Showa Steel Works.
