Anshan Steel Works

Japanese: 鞍山製鉄所 - あんざんせいてつじょ

A steelworks in Liaoning Province, northeastern China
In 1915, the company obtained mining rights under the Twenty-One Demands, and in 1918, it was managed by the South Manchuria Railway Co., Ltd. (Mantetsu). Along with the Honkeiko Ironworks, it played a major role as part of the mainland investment policy. In 1933, it was separated from the Mt. Tanba and merged with Showa Steel Works. After World War II, it became China's leading steelworks.

1915年二十一カ条要求で採掘権を獲得し，'18年南満州鉄道株式会社（満鉄）が経営。大陸投資政策の一環として本溪湖 (ほんけいこ) 製鉄所とともに大きな役割を果たした。'33年満鉄から分離し昭和製鋼所に合併された。第二次世界大戦後は，中国の代表的製鉄所となった。
