Fire - rudder

Japanese:
Fire - rudder
It is called a fire because it is something that is useful to humans that is burned. In the Fire and Disaster Management Agency, fire statistics are divided into six categories: building fires, forest fires, ship fires, aircraft fires, vehicle fires, and others. Of these, building fires account for more than half of the total. The total number of fires is around 60,000 every year, with 54,987 in 1998, resulting in 2,077 deaths and 7,256 injuries. The most common cause of fires is arson, followed by cigarettes. The reason why fires are more common in winter is related to meteorological factors such as low humidity and strong seasonal winds. Also, the characteristics of fire-resistant buildings such as buildings are different from those of wooden houses. In the latter, white smoke generally rises when the fire inside the building has progressed a little, which then subsides temporarily due to lack of air, and then black smoke is emitted. When the inside of the building is burned out and convection improves, the fire rapidly progresses. In a light breeze, it takes 13 to 24 minutes from the start of the fire to the end of the fire. The temperature of fire is 500 to 1000 degrees Celsius. The speed at which fire spreads is proportional to the wind speed. Sparks may be carried violently by air currents, or they may be lifted high into the air by tornadoes. → Fire prevention/Forest fires
