Allatotropin - Aratotropin

…The secretory activity of the corpus allata is regulated by both nervous and endocrine mechanisms. Two neurosecretory substances, allatotropin (which stimulates the corpus allata) and allatohibin (which inhibits the corpus allata), are produced in the neurosecretory cells of the brain, and act directly on the corpus allata via the corpus allata nerves. The nerves also have an inhibitory effect.
