United States Navy - AmeriKaIgun

After World War II, electronic weapons, jet-powered supersonic aircraft, nuclear-powered submarines and aircraft carriers, missiles, and other technologies have developed dramatically, revolutionizing ships and equipment while at the same time increasing military expenditures. The navy's mission remains the same today, and the only navy well equipped to accomplish this mission is the United States Navy. As the leading nation in the defense of the West, the United States places great importance on naval power based on a strategy of deterrence and rapid deployment. As of 1996, the United States has fleets in the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Mediterranean, and Western Pacific Oceans, and dominates the world with a large number of ships, including 12 aircraft carriers and 95 submarines.
