Mysidae - Mysidae

…A general term for the family Mysidae and related species of the Crustacean class, superorder Peracaridae, order Mysidacea, and related species. Not only are they important as natural food for fish, but those that live in brackish and freshwater are caught and eaten as tsukudani, as well as used as bait for catching sardines and horse mackerel, and as feed for farmed fish and poultry.
