〘名〙① 屋根などの雨水を受けて流す細長い樋。※恋慕ながし(1898)〈小栗風葉〉三一「左(と)も右(かく)も雨樋(アマドヒ)の受筒を結び留めた四分の銅線(はりがね)を捩復(ねぢもど)して」② 歌舞伎で用いる擬音用具の一つ。渋紙で底をはった、すべり台の形のもの。その上に小豆をすべらせて、雨の音に似せる。
