Abd al-Khaliq Gujdwani - Abd al-Khaliq Gujdwani

...an Islamic mystical sect (tariqa) ​​based in Bukhara, Central Asia. Founded by Abd al-Khāliq Ghujduwānī (?-1179∥80, also said to have died in 1220), it has been active in Bukhara since the late 12th century and was generally known as the Khoja sect. However, when Bahā' al-Dīn Naqshband (1317-89) appeared in the 14th century, it came to be called the Naqshbandi sect after him.
