Vicious cycle

...Cancerous ulcers that have shrunk will grow again over time. This phenomenon is called the malignant life cycle, as it is believed that cancer progresses gradually as the ulcers shrink and grow repeatedly. This phenomenon is extremely important in diagnosing early-stage gastric cancer accompanied by ulcers.
