Argh - Argh

...the name of a folk song from Miyako Island and the Yaeyama Islands in Okinawa, or the name of a group dance created in Okinawan theater. As a folk song, in Miyako Island it was originally called "ayago" and generally called "aagu," and is used as a general term for songs other than divine songs such as "pyashi," "fusa," and "neeri." Many of them have a strong historical character, praising worldly heroes, praying for bountiful harvests and pre-celebrations, praying for safe voyages, and singing about aspects of the lives of the people such as weaving.
