Akaonji - Akaonji

…It usually refers to the light brown subsoil with little organic matter, corresponding to the black soil on the surface of volcanic ash soil. It is called Akanoppo, Akaonji, Akahoya, etc. depending on the region, and is often called loam in the field of surface geology. In general, the more basic the volcanic ash and the richer its iron content, the redder it is.
