...They give birth to 5-8 young in the summer. The three species of spotted eagle ray Aetobatus narinari , blue-striped eagle ray Aetomylaeus nichofii , and cownose eagle ray Rhinoptera javanica are found in a wide range of habitats from southern Japan to the south. They are not industrially important species, and are only used as ingredients for paste products.
