Kumakichi Aoki

Born February 12, 1861. A fisherman from Misaki Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. From the opening of the Imperial University Misaki Marine Laboratory in 1886, he helped collect research materials for about 30 years, collecting hundreds of new species.
