Granite mountain range in central Niger. Located in the southern Sahara Desert. The highest peak is Mount Glebun (2000m above sea level), which is also the highest peak in the country. This was once the home of the Tuareg kingdom, and rock carvings from the pre-Christian era remain. Currently, it is a nomadic area for the Tuareg, and there are hot springs.
