IMET - IMET

The military aid currently being implemented by the United States is (1) the Military Assistance Program (MAP), which provides military supplies and related services free of charge to countries that the United States deems particularly in need; (2) the International Military Education and Training Program (IMET), which provides education and training free of charge to military personnel of countries that the United States deems particularly in need; and (3) Foreign Military Sales Credits (FMS).
