Weisgerber, L.

...This mesh of language scoops up the outside world and makes it appear before us. This world is not something that exists alongside "things in themselves," nor does it exist only in our minds; it is something that might be called the linguistic intermediate world (according to the German linguist Leo Weisgerber (1899- )). The linguistic intermediate world is not an illusory world of ideas, but is based on the layered structure of the realities of nature, society, and culture.
