transference neurosis

...Especially in transference situations, the fixed interpersonal attitude of childhood, which is not suited to the present situation and which can be considered the source of the development of neurosis, is reproduced in the real, here and now therapeutic situation. This is transference neurosis that arises under the influence of therapy, a new version of infantile neurosis. In other words, it is an artificial neurosis compared to the original neurosis, and it is the first time that the therapist can easily manipulate it.
