Kaito Kayo - Kaito Kayo

Japanese: 海東歌謡 - かいとうかよう

A collection of Korean songs from the Yi Dynasty. Compiled by Kim Sujang in 1763 (the 39th year of the reign of King Yeongjo). Along with "Seongkyu Yeongeom," this is the oldest collection of poems that compiles sijo and kajirui. Kim Sujang was a poet, and in his later years he built a thatched hut called Nogajae in Hwagae-dong, Seoul, where he taught music. This collection was compiled as a textbook, and contains 568 poems by famous poets from the end of the Goryeo Dynasty, as well as 315 poems with unknown authors. 朝鮮，李朝の歌謡集。1763年(英祖39)，金寿長が撰集。《青丘永言》とともに時調･歌辞類をまとめた歌集としては最古のもの。金寿長は歌人であり，晩年ソウルの花開洞に老家斎と称する茅屋を建てて音楽を教授した。この歌集は教本として編集され，高麗末からの有名氏の歌が568首，作者不明の歌315首収録されている。有名氏のは作家別に分類し，簡単な略歴もある。【金思燁】
