Mani

...A dualistic religion founded and advocated in the 3rd century by the Iranian Mani (216-276/277, or more precisely Mānī). It is a world religion that takes Zoroastrianism at the time as its doctrine base, and incorporates and fuses it with Christianity, Mesopotamian Gnosticism, traditional indigenous beliefs, and even Buddhism. In its thoroughly dualistic doctrine, Manichaeism's unique doctrine of salvation is developed cosmologically around a return to the original cosmos, where light and darkness, good and evil, and spirit and matter were clearly separated.
