Monte Verita (English spelling)

Mysticism, which aims to break the boundaries of each individual's soul through the communal life of master and disciple, therefore became the main axis of the movement to build these communities. It was connected to the construction of communities in Europe, such as the School of Wisdom in Keyserling, the Worpswede artist colony where H. Vogeler and Rilke gathered, and Monte Verita (meaning "Mountain of Truth"; nearby Ascona is also known as the site of the Eranos Conference where Jung and others gathered), as well as in India, including Tagore and Sri Aurobindo (1872-1950), and the construction of utopias in various parts of America.
