Mother fixation

…A term referring to excessive attachment or fixation on one's mother. However, this is a common usage along with its often-used contraction, mama's boy, and the corresponding psychoanalytic term is mother fixation. Incidentally, excessive attachment or fixation on one's father is called a father complex (or more correctly, father fixation).
