Narcissistic neurosis

...Here, the movement and increase/decrease of a certain amount of energy is assumed, and the ego cannot bear the excessive accumulation of energy and turns to the object. However, if the object libido is forcibly withdrawn into the ego through an unknown process and the mobility of the libido is lost, the person falls into narcissistic neurosis (hypochondria or schizophrenia). In this way, the introduction of a quantitative perspective into the explanation of mental phenomena is one of the characteristics of Freud's theory.
