Nouveau Christianism (English spelling)

In his works The Organiser (1819) and The Industrial System (1821-22), he defined the modern world as a "world turned upside down" and drew up a blueprint for an industrial society as a major transformation of that world. He attempted suicide after failing to survive, and in his co-authored work with A. Comte, Catéchisme des industriels (1823-24), he discussed the organization of the industrial system aimed at the liberation of the proletariat, and in his posthumous work Nouveau christianisme (1925), he preached its spiritual and moral rearmament. His thought, although lacking unity, was full of genius insights and had a wide-ranging influence on later generations, and is particularly noteworthy as the source of Comte's positivist philosophy, socialism as a transformation of industrialism by Saint-Simonism developed by BP Enfantin, A. Bazar, and Benjamin Olinde Rodrigues, as well as today's theory of managed society and technocracy. …
